(Tropical Agro) is a Chennai-based crop protection and plant nutrition company (part of The Jhaver Group) founded in 1969, providing full-spectrum “seed-to-harvest” solutions and responsible, residue-focused farming to farmers. Core offerings include chemical and biological pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides), plant nutrition (biofertilizers, biostimulants, organic fertilizers/foliar fertilisers), decomposers (e.g., PROPEL), seed coating and post-harvest products. It has 7 manufacturing facilities and R&D hubs; Sikandrabad installed capacities include herbicides 10,000 TPA, insecticides 30,000 TPA, biofertilizers 30,000 TPA. Scale: ~1100 employees, 20,000+ distributors/retailers, 4,000+ field assistants, 8+ crore farmers, 300+ formulations (50+ biological). Partners/customers include Agrofresh, Corteva, Syngenta, Bayer and other collaborators.
