简介
SyAqua Group is an active Thailand (and region-wide) shrimp genetics and early nutrition provider focused on commercial shrimp broodstock breeding and hatchery products. It sells P. vannamei genetics (broodstock, nauplii, and post-larvae) built on genomic selection/marker-assisted selection plus quantitative genetics (BLUP), with disease resistance screening for AHPNS/EMS and WSSV, and it produces micro-encapsulated hatchery feeds via its nutrition unit. Founded in 2001; headquarters listed for Thailand as Siam 140, One Pacific Place, Bangkok, Thailand. Ownership: acquired by Gold Coin in 2011 and a majority stake acquired by Ocean 14 Capital in 2022. Latest 2025-2026 developments: in Aug 2025 it announced acquiring Primo Broodstock USA LLC, targeting increased US broodstock capacity to 230,000+ broodstock/year by end of 2024, and it also opened a new hatchery in Bangpakong, Chachoengsao (14,000 sqm) producing 100M nauplii and 50M post-larvae per month, with QC lab and around-the-clock operations.
