Rowain is a South Korean deep-tech startup founded in October 2022 by CEO Kyeongha Lee that develops robotic vertical farming systems to address agricultural labor shortages and climate-related productivity challenges. Its core product, INTELLI-FARM, utilizes a proprietary robotic architecture that separates cultivation areas from workspaces, employing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and stacker robots to automate planting, harvesting, and transport. By minimizing worker aisles and focusing automation on labor-intensive tasks, the system aims to double productivity and reduce labor requirements by 75%.
