简介
PTT MCC Biochem Co., Ltd. (PTTMCC) is a 50/50 joint venture between PTT Global Chemical (GC) and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) that develops and manufactures BioPBS™ compostable/biodegradable PBS plastic for sustainable packaging applications. It began commercial production of BioPBS in 2017 at its Rayong, Thailand plant. The JV was established in Mar 2011 (incorporation shown as Mar 30, 2011) with headquarters in Bangkok and a registered address in Bangkok. It is still listed as “Active” in Tracxn as of 2024-12-31, but business withdrawal means normal operations continue until Dec 31, 2026; production terminated Dec 2025 and sales end when stock runs out; after dismantling, the company will be dissolved and liquidated. Reported revenue is 2.01B THB for the year ending Dec 31, 2023; capacity and employee figures aren’t provided in the results.
