Mukka Proteins Limited (MPL) manufactures and exports fish meal, fish oil, and fish-soluble paste, plus alternative proteins via Black Soldier Fly (BSF) insect meal/oil and waste-to-value/compost and other environmental solutions; it also has a frozen seafood/value-added platform with EU-approved operations. It was founded as a partnership in 2003 and later converted to a public company (Mukka Proteins Limited since 2019/2021). Headquarters/registered office: Mukka Corporate House, Attavara, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India. Core manufacturing/technology: steam-dried fishmeal (first steam-sterilised plant in India per company materials), blending/QA labs, and BSF biotech converting organic waste to proteins/oils/soil nutrients; Oman and multiple Indian coastal facilities.
