Lypid develops PhytoFat™, a microencapsulated plant-oil fat ingredient and “animal-fat analogue” used by alternative-protein food brands to deliver richer mouthfeel and cooking behavior while avoiding hydrogenation and trans fats. Core technology uses a proprietary microencapsulation/emulsion approach that maintains properties when heated above 165°C (329°F) and can be formulated with different melting points/textures. It was founded in 2020 and has an address in Taipei, Taiwan, and a contact address in San Jose, CA.
