Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL) manufactures and markets crop protection and nutrition products—insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, plant growth regulators (PGRs) and biologicals—and serves farmers via B2C branded formulations and B2B technical supplies, with strong farmer outreach and digital tools (IIL 360/CRMs). It operates 4 R&D streams (first in-house R&D lab at Chopanki in 2005; OAT Agrio JV for molecule discovery) and has 6 formulation + 2 technical plants (plus biological unit). Headquarters: Delhi; operations began 2001; first manufacturing plant 2002. FY2025-26 revenue ₹2,140 crore; PAT ₹139 crore; ROCE 16.1%.
