E.I.D. – Parry (India) Limited is a listed Murugappa Group company headquartered at “Dare House” in Chennai that manufactures sweetness and nutraceuticals and is expanding into Consumer Products/FMCG. Founded in 1788, it operates six sugar plants (total crushing capacity ~40,800 TCD), co-generation of 140 MW, and distillery capacity ~582 KLPD; it also makes microalgae nutraceuticals (Spirulina) at plants in Tamil Nadu. It holds a 100% stake in Parry Sugars Refinery India Pvt. Ltd and US Nutraceuticals Inc. Funding/investors: market cap was ~₹16,551 Cr (10 Feb 2026). FY25 consolidated revenue from operations was ~₹7,523 Cr; employees: 2,384 (Mar 31, 2025). Latest 2025–26: the company is active (Q4 FY26 investor materials) and continues portfolio reshaping; it decided to exit the Parry Sugars & Refinery business, and launched/expanded Consumer Products (incl. rice/millets/dals beyond sugar).
