Headquartered in Lafayette, California, with significant operations in Hangzhou, China, the company utilizes its proprietary Physical AI-driven biofoundry platform to engineer enzymes, proteins, and peptides.
Key products include bio-preservatives (HeliaGenesis brand) and personal care ingredients (Yucca Elements brand). Bota operates a 130,000 square meter fermentation plant with over 600 tons of annual capacity.
