Asia Biogas is an active, privately held renewable energy company specializing in the design, construction, and operation of anaerobic digestion systems to convert agri-industrial waste into biogas. Founded in 1999, the company focuses on the palm oil and cassava starch industries in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia and Thailand. Its core business includes engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, as well as owning and operating biogas plants to produce thermal energy, electricity, and compressed biomethane gas (CBG). The company also certifies and sells carbon emission reductions. Headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, with additional presence in Indonesia and other regions, it employs approximately 48 people. It is venture-backed by investors including Eden Impact and Trading Emissions.
