It uses genetics, plant breeding, biotechnology, seed processing, and molecular breeding/transgenics/genomics, supported by in-house R&D (PBRC, DSIR-approved; ~60 scientists) plus ~600 acres of on-farm research farms with multi-location trials. Founded 13 May 1986; head office in Chitegaon (suburban Aurangabad), Maharashtra. ASPL is unlisted/private (InstaFinancials shows Active status; no stock listing). Owned by the Padmakar Mulay Group; promoted by Padmakar Mulay and sons Ranjeet Mulay and Sameer Mulay.
